Candice Wren

| Designer Candice Wren studied Fashion and Textiles at Portsmouth University.
Her Turkish pashminas are made from 70% cashmere and 30%
silk. She hand prints all her designs in her Chelmsford studio, using eco
friendly inks so each and every one is individual and slightly different from
the last. Many of her designs use appliquéd recycled vintage fabrics as part
of the overall design.
As a designer, she is constantly searching for exciting and fabulous
objects, fabrics and haberdashery. Her inspiration comes from vintage lace
found in her grandma's sewing box, perfume bottles lined up on her pretty
dresser, finds from antiques fairs and nature. All these elements are reflected
across her intricate designs. |
